The Pittsburgh Steelers will have their fullback back in place for the 2015 as Will Johnson signed his restricted tender.
Johnson will earn $1.5 million next season.
He is the second of the Steelers three RFA’s to sign their tenders. Cornerback Antwon Blake was the first, leaving just safety Robert Golden as the team’s lone restricted free agent.
Johnson has a total of four carries for seven yards and 29 catches for 219 yards and two touchdowns, playing in 47 games over the course of the past three seasons.
Last season Johnson caught six passes for 41 yards and also had a role on special teams.
Johnson, who attended West Virginia University, was signed by the Steelers as an undrafted free agent in March 2012.
